Marian Ventre Obituary

Marian Mary (Nadrotoska) Ventre, 88, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 16, 2024. She was the loving wife of the late Carmine P. Ventre, who passed away in 1997. Born May 10, 1936 in Stamford; the daughter of the late Michael and Gladys (Koczeniak) Nadrotoska.
Marian was a resident of Ridgefield for 63 years. She gave up a career in fashion design to become a homemaker and was devoted to her family. Marian hosted many family holiday gatherings including traditional Christmas Eve dinners. She enjoyed many family trips to Walt Disney World in Florida.
She is survived by her children, Timothy J. Ventre, Cheryl Kauer and Peter A. Ventre and wife Deborah; grandchildren, Tyler Ventre and wife Stephanie, Christopher Ventre, Brandon Kauer and wife Rachel, Carmine W. Ventre and fiancée Katherine Castro; granddaughter Cecily R. Ventre and great-granddaughter, Hope Ann Ventre; and sister, Barbara Nadrotoska.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her sons, Carmine P. Ventre Jr., Michael C. Ventre; son-in-law, Walter Kauer and sister, Laura Docimo.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 28, 2024 at St. Mary's Church, 55 Catoonah Street, Ridgefield at 10 AM. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Ridgefield. Montano-Shea Funeral Home, 5 Steele Road, New Hartford, CT 06057. Visit an online guestbook at montano-shea.com.
