A cherished and devoted Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Auntie, and friend to all

Marianne S. Mohammed, 92, of Rockledge went to be with the Lord surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, August 13, 2025.

Born on February 20, 1933 in Trinidad & Tobago, Marianne grew up with a great sense of creativity and a deep care for others.

Marianne was a gifted seamstress and was well-known throughout all of Brevard County for her meticulous craftsmanship, calming presence, and ability to make every bride feel truly radiant. Retiring after three decades working at Meredith's Bridal Shop, she continued her work as an independent seamstress. Helping anyone who came to her through generations with everything from alterations to wedding dresses, she infused every stitch with her patience and artistry. Those who knew Marianne will remember her as an amazing woman, deeply loved, impossible to forget, and forever stitched into the fabric of their hearts.

Her green thumb was just as impressive; with experienced hands and a beautiful heart, she tended her garden as if every bloom were a jewel.

She had a fearless and adventurous spirit. Marianne would never shy away from a theme park ride. She often said that if her health had allowed, she would have gone skydiving on her birthday. Now she's flying higher than any airplane – rising up instead of falling down.

Today she waits in heaven for her beloved children: Susie Ali (Oral), Dianne Hancock (Winton), Indira Dzadovsky (Thomas), and Roland Mohammed; grandchildren: Lindsy Ward (Sean), Robert Ali (Candace), Alyssa Hampson (Sean), Allan Hancock, and Nikki Hancock; great-grandchildren: Shelby and Liam. On August 13, 2003, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, Shaffie Mohammed.

Marianne was a longtime member of Cocoa First Assembly of God. Her faith in Jesus Christ was evident in her love for life, her love for others, and everything she did.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Cocoa First Assembly of God, followed by a celebration of life at 11:30 a.m. There will also be a time of fellowship with the family at the church's Family Life Center.

Anyone who is unable to attend will be able to view the celebration of life via the church's website: CocoaFirstAssembly.com

In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Cocoa First Assembly of God.

Marianne will be remembered for the beautiful life she lived. She had strength, kindness, and love for everyone she met.

For us, she is the best, most beautiful woman of all times – Our Legendary Superwoman!

- "Tank you I love you!"
