Marie Louise Davis passed away peacefully on October 16, 2023, surrounded by her loving family and a dear friend, at Central Washington Hospital in Wenatchee, WA.
Marie was born on March 2, 1988, in Bellevue, WA, to her father, Jack Norman Davis and her mother, Kathryn Louise (Reid) Davis, joining her older brothers, Kurt and Reid. Along with her family, she moved to Wenatchee, WA, at the age of 3 where she grew up among the cherry orchards on Wenatchee Heights. She attended Mission View Elementary, Pioneer Middle School, and graduated from Wenatchee High School in 2006 as a member of the National Honor Society. While growing up, she enjoyed many activities both in and out of school, including skiing at Mission Ridge, youth soccer, Mariachi dancing, boat camping on Lake Chelan, and fishing trips to Sitka, Alaska, with her dad and brothers. After high school, Marie attended Western Washington University, graduating in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Finance.
Marie developed a strong work ethic early in life. Along with her brothers, she spent summers working in the family cherry orchards and especially enjoyed swamping cherries during harvest. Her work ethic continued as she worked at the WHS Apple Leaf Newspaper while attending high school, and at the Western Front Newspaper while in college. Marie was talented, sharp, charismatic, focused, and hard-working, and she excelled in the many career paths she explored, including sales and marketing for business equipment, an ophthalmology surgical product consultant, a hospital ER trauma registrar, a financial advisor associate, in agricultural quality control supervisory roles, and most recently as a paraeducator with special education students at Wenatchee High School, and owner of Sweet Marie cherry orchard on Wenatchee Heights.
Marie has a beautiful soul and will be deeply missed and always remembered for her love of time spent with family and friends, especially her playing endless hours of card and board games, enjoying cooking and entertaining, and brightening any room and occasion with her dynamic presence, humor, and quick, clever wit. She savored the experience of choosing and giving the perfect gift to loved ones, and adored being an aunt to her precious nieces and nephew. She loved watching movies and shows with friends and family, and enjoying the outdoors. May remembering the sound of Marie's joyous laugh as she would delight in a good joke and fun times, and telling us stories about her experiences and funny situations, gift us with a chuckle and warm our hearts.
Marie is survived by her parents Jack Davis and Casey Brown-Davis, and Kathy and Jack Hendry; brothers and sisters-in-law Reid and Andrea Davis with nephew Jax, and Kurt and Keri Davis with nieces Joanna and Leah; step-siblings Ashley, Erik, Jeffrey, Sarah, Danny, Zac and their families; and many loved aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
Marie is preceded in death by her grandparents Lee and Trina Marie Davis, Carole and Brooks Dean, and Keith and Shirley Reid.
A Celebration of Life for Marie Davis will be held on Friday, October 27, 2023, 10:30 am at Sage Hills Church, 1601 Fifth Street, Wenatchee, WA.
In lieu of flowers, her family requests that people reach out to loved ones who they know are struggling and offer them love and support, as Marie so often did for those she knew and loved.

Marie was the cutest baby girl. Instead of crawling I remember how she used to scoot around the house on her bottom. She was adorable. Memories to last a lifetime. Praying for Her family during this most difficult time.
