Marie Jacovino
June 22, 1936 – October 7, 2025
It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of Marie Jacovino, who left us peacefully on October 7, 2025, at the age of 89, following complications related to Alzheimer’s disease.
Marie was born on June 22, 1936, in Flint, Michigan, and spent the majority of her life on Long Island, New York. For the past 27 years, she and her husband, Nick Jacovino, made their home in Manorville. Marie and Nick shared an incredible 67 years of marriage, filled with devotion, laughter, and countless cherished memories.
Marie worked as a paralegal in the real estate industry, where her intelligence, dedication, and kindness earned her the respect and admiration of all who knew her. Beyond her professional life, Marie’s true passion was her family. She was a loving and supportive wife, mother, and grandmother who found joy in every moment spent with those she loved most.
She is survived by her beloved husband Nick; her children Frank Jacovino (married to Bettyann) and Jean Kosina (married to Bill); and her three treasured grandchildren Amy Kosina (married to Saxxon Gonzalez), Danielle DeNicola (married to JT), and Christopher Jacovino.
Marie’s love and warmth touched everyone around her. Even through her journey with Alzheimer’s, she continued to teach her family about grace, patience, and unconditional love.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13, 2025, from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at:Moloney-Sinnicksons Funeral Home and Cremation Center203 Main St, Center Moriches, NY 11934
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests Mass cards, donations to the Alzheimer’s Association, or gifts to your favorite charity in Marie’s name.
Marie will forever be remembered for her gentle spirit, her strength, and the love she shared so freely with all who were blessed to know her.
