Marie Kathleen Krupp died on June 8, 2023. Born on June 13, 1945 in Owosso, Michigan, daughter of Harry Brown and Lucinda (Gross). She graduated from Our Lady of Perpetual Help. Marie met her soulmate, Edward Krupp in drivers training class at the age of 15. They went on to get married on May 15, 1965, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, and had 5 children. Marie was a generous, loving, spirited, and supportive wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Her unwavering faith in the Catholic Church guided her throughout her life and shared this love for God with everyone she encountered.
Marie was a dedicated member of St. Michael Catholic Church and cherished her involvement in various activities that enriched the lives of those around her. For 17 years, she worked as a caterer, and her love for cooking and baking was well-known, especially her famous cinnamon rolls that she baked for the CCD program. Marie's generosity was evident through her participation in the St. Michael befriending group for many years and her assistance in helping cook funeral meals. Above all, Marie's love for her family was unparalleled, particularly the love she had for her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and children.
Marie is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Edward Krupp; children, Kerensa (Doug) Bailey, Ed (Cindy) Krupp, Matt (Mary Jane) Krupp; in laws, Bill (Dianne) Krupp, Ann Dotson, Kathy Lienau, Tim (Jane) Krupp, Ken (Barb) Krupp, Linda Krupp; 9 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and 5 step great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Mark and Duane Krupp; brothers, Ernie, Eugene, and Linus Brown; in laws, Joe Dotson, Pat (Dan) Krupp, Roy Lienau, and Louie Root.
Marie's life was a testament to her faith, love, and generosity, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A memorial mass will be held on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at 11:00am at St. Michael Catholic Church in Maple Grove, a visitation will take place at 10:00am until the time of the mass. Memorial donations may be made to the family, in honor of Marie.
