The family of Marie Elena Mirabal of Albuquerque are saddened to announce her passing on July 13, 2024, at the age of 84 years.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 35 years, Randy; children: Terry Gallegos (Ron), Carmela Aguilar, David Aguilar (Corrine), Dolores Sanchez, and step-daughter Cyndi Lopez (Jesse); grandchildren: Amanda Trujillo, Paulette Gallegos, Audra Gallegos-Astorga (Adrian), Rachael Chovanec (Joe), Nathan Sanchez (Brandon), Chris Navarrette (Sarah), Rebecca Griego (Aaron), Jessica Lopez, and Maddy Lopez; great-grandchildren: Lorenzo, Isaiah, Adalyn, Alannah, Josephine, Solace, and Milana; brothers: Fernando Cordova (Bernice) and Francis Cordova (Ernestina); and many beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Willie Cordova, mother, Josephine Cordova, and siblings Arsenio Cordova (Kathy), Cora Sanchez (Gene), Dan Cordova (Libby), Fabby Garcia (Ben), and Ruben Cordova (Lillian).
Funeral services will take place at St. Therese Catholic Church in Albuquerque, NM. Rosary will be held on Wednesday, July 31st at 6:00 pm. Funeral mass will be held on Thursday, August 1st at 9:00 am. Burial will be held at the Santa Fe National Cemetery on Friday, August 2nd at 10:30 am.
