Marilyn Commeau loved what she did, which is why she excelled at it.
She was always firm yet fair and at the same time funny. When I think of her, what first comes to mind is that little smirk and twinkle in her eye. She had such an influence on us that she made us want to be our best.
Most of all, she loved us and we loved her in return. WE were her family and she will never be forgotten.
Ms. Commeau, "Thanks for the Memories!"

Dear Ms Commeau, you were an inspiration to all the kids who happened to have you as their teacher durning their time @ West High School. The Drill Team wouldn´t have been possible without you. I always respected you & loved you as my mentor.

Dear Ms Commeau,
You did have a great sense of humor and so do I. We had so many laughs through the years.
Loved that you reminded me to pee just before we paraded. You always caught me just as I was about to say a naughty word in volleyball or anywhere else.
On drill team, were always your girls and we tried so hard to make you proud. We usually did with lots of awards and laughs.
Thank you for remembering me and my name after many, many years. You made us all feel special! xoxo

Miss Commeau was a tough coach who expected her p.e. students to suit up & play, excuses were intolerable. But she also taught us the importance of showing up on time, ready for action, respecting your elders, listening & following instructions and the importance of team work by her own example & often with humor...Life lessons still remembered & used today. Thank you Miss Commeau!
