Wilfred (Bill) Commeau Jr., loving Husband, Father, and Grandfather passed away on May 13, 2023. Bill was Born March 28th 1945.
He was preceded in death by his Wife, Beverly Commeau; his parents, Wilfred Sr. and Marion Commeau; son, Glen Victor Commeau and grandson, Zacharia Ira Clemens.
He is survived by his children, Terri Clemens and husband, David, Sharon Irvin, Cindy Barber, Shannon Bratton and wife, Billie Jo; daughter-in-law, Sandra Commeau and a bonus daughter, Shannon Nicolle Arnold. He has 13 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren and multiple nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his brothers, Tom Commeau and wife, Judy, Bobby Commeau and wife, Cindy, and Andy Commeau and wife, Michael.
Bill was raised and graduated in Orono, Maine. He served in the US Navy and then moved to Texas in the early 70's to work in the refineries. He worked many years and spent most of his life at Citgo refinery in Corpus Christi. Bill enjoyed being outdoors as he loved to fish and hunt during his time off. He was also a craftsman and found joy in making custom furniture. Bill loved spending time with family and friends and telling colorful jokes. Bill will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
The memorial service will be held at Sawyer George Funeral Home on May 27, 2023 at 10:00 AM.
