It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Marilyn Amelia Hanks, who departed this life on June 16, 2024, at the age of 75. Marilyn was born on October 12, 1948, in Chillicothe, Texas, and spent her life surrounded by the warm embrace of family and community. A beloved mother, and esteemed business owner, she touched the lives of many through her contributions to the retail industry and her generous spirit.
Marilyn is survived by her cherished daughter, Stephanie Daly, and her devoted son-in-law, Bryan Daly. She will be remembered not only for her entrepreneurial spirit but also for her ability to bring people together, her infectious laughter, and her unwavering support of those she loved.
In honoring Marilyn's life, a memorial service will be held at the Steed Todd Funeral Home Chapel in Clovis, New Mexico, on October 11, 2025, at 2:00 PM. Friends and family are invited to gather and celebrate the remarkable life she lived, sharing memories and moments that illustrate her legacy of love and kindness.
Marilyn Amelia Hanks will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those who knew her. Her spirit will continue to inspire and uplift, as she embarks on her eternal journey surrounded by love. May she rest in peace.
