Mary was born on June 27, 1940, in Rocky Ford, CO to Julio Casias and Mercedes Cruz. She married Richard Cardenas in November 1969 in Colorado. Mary enjoyed being a homecare caregiver as well as sewing and cooking.
She is survived by her seven children; Gabriel Casias (Rose) of Decatur, IL, Julian Victor Sintas of Clovis, NM, Diana Meyes (John) of New York, NY, Mark Sintas (Lisa) of Clovis, NM, Mary Elaine McNabb of Tulsa, OK, Nicholas Cardenas of Santa Fe, NM, and Heather Ledbetter of California, four brothers; Benny Casias of Boone, CO, Gilbert Casias, of AZ, Richard Casias of Clovis, NM, and three sisters; Jeane Bonita (Frank) of Pueblo, CO, Caroline Sintas of Colorado Springs, and Lorraine Gonzalez (Teddy) of Pueblo, Colorado, 18 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 10 great-great grandchildren.
Mary is preceded in death by her husband; Richard Cardenas, parents; Julio Casias and Mercedes Cruz, three sons; Gilbert Sintas Jr., Larry Sintas, and Richard Cardenas Jr., and brother; Wiliam Casias.
