Marilyn Johnston, age 85, passed away peacefully at her home in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, on October 27, 2025.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Norman Johnston. Marilyn is survived by her daughters Christine, Cynthia, Casandra, Clarissa, and Carla; her grandchildren Stacy, Heather, Joeziah, Caralyn, Cheyla, Desiree, Sarah, and Jessica; and her great-grandchildren Ashly, Emma, Katelin, Caden, Aria, Ella, Caleb, Calista, Cason, and Cash.
Marilyn dedicated much of her life to caring for others as a registered nurse, a career through which she touched countless lives with compassion and skill. In addition to her nursing career, she was also an accomplished author, sharing her insights and creativity through her writing.
Marilyn will be remembered for her strength, warmth, and unwavering love for her family. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
A private family gathering will be held to celebrate her life.
