Marilyn Riddle

1935 - 2026

Marilyn M Riddle, 91, of Southwick, Massachusetts, died peacefully at her residence surrounded by her children. She was predeceased by her parents; her two brothers, Charles and Michael; and her husband and soulmate of 46 years, the Reverend Doctor James D Riddle.





Marilyn and her husband were former residents of Chapel Hill and she worked for the University of North Carolina. Marilyn is survived by her children and their spouses, Mary and Greg of Kalispell, Montana; Allison and Scott of Granville, Massachusetts; and Doug and Carol of Apex, North Carolina. She leaves ten beloved grandchildren-Colin Macomber; Rebecca Dubs-Macomber; Micaela (Riddle) Burke; Alyssa (Riddle) Branscome; Jonathan Macomber; Margaret (Cornell) Honcoop; Andrew Riddle; Eli Cornell; Jacob Macomber; and Gabrielle Riddle - their respective partners, and ten great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her dear nieces, nephews, cousins, and her sister-in-law, all in Texas and New Mexico.





A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Sat., March 21, 2026 at the Granville Federated Church, 16 Granby Road, Granville, Massachusetts. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Marilyn's memory to the YWCA of Western Massachusetts (www.ywworks.org), New England Public Media (www.nepm.org), and/or the National Parks and Conservation Association (www.npca.org).
