Marilyn Helen Tillson passed peacefully on Saturday, June 10, 2023, at the age of 76 at Mid-Hudson Regional Hospital of Westchester Medical Center in Poughkeepsie.
Born on September 24, 1946, in Yonkers, NY, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Helen
Wilantowicz Holdner. Marilyn married the love of her life, Thomas D. Tillson, on April 4, 1970,
at Christ the King Roman Catholic Church in Yonkers, NY.
Marilyn was a 1964 graduate of Charles E. Gorton High School, Yonkers, NY and a 1968
graduate of Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, NY where she received her Bachelor of Science
degree in English.

NY and later worked for Lewis Country Farms in Lagrange, NY as well as CVS in Pleasant
Valley, NY as a cashier.

1977. She also served as Vice-President of the Ladies Auxiliary, Hastings-on-Hudson Protection
Engine Co. No. 1, in the 1970s.
She was an outgoing, loving woman who made friends everywhere she went. She loved meeting
new people, listening to oldies music, bargain hunting for antiques at the Stormville Flea Market,
and showing off her treasures. Marilyn was a passionate reader and enjoyed hosting family
gatherings for every holiday. Marilyn's focus was always on her family whom she loved and
adored. She hand wrote cards for every holiday and surrounded herself with photos of loved ones
from near and far.

So sorry to hear of Marilyn passing. I just saw this today or I would have went to the viewing. We became friends when I worked at Millspaugh furniture. My prayers go out to all of her family. She was a wonderful lady.
