Marilynn Jeppesen, age 79, passed away peacefully on November 13, 2025, in Tyler, Texas. Born on January 14, 1946, in Victoria, Texas, she was the cherished daughter of the late William Haynes and Mary Newman.
Marilynn lived a life defined by devotion-to her family, her faith in the Lord, and the many people whose lives she touched with her warmth and kindness. She carried a gentle strength, a nurturing spirit, and an unwavering love that reflected her trust in God's goodness. Her quiet grace and steadfast compassion made her a constant source of comfort and encouragement to those around her.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Gary Jeppesen, and her treasured children: Bill Baker, Betty Macrini (Daniel), James Bentley (Jan), Sheri Baker, Clay Baker, Jerilyn Call (Tom), Melanie Lawrence (Dan), Brian Jeppesen (Susan), Scott Jeppesen and Marc Macrini.
Her legacy continues through numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her immense joy. She poured her heart into her family, and her memory will live on in the stories they share, the traditions she nurtured, and the abiding love she leaves behind. Marilynn's faith was a guiding light throughout her life, and her family takes comfort in knowing she is now safely home in the presence of her Savior.
Marilynn is preceded in death by her parents, her son Gregory Mackay Jeppesen, and her siblings Betty Hawkins, Clyde Haynes, Lloyd Haynes, and Dorothy Parsons.
A Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2025 from 12pm to 2pm with a Prayer Service to begin at 1pm. Burial to follow at Nursery cemetery.
Though she will be deeply missed, her life will forever be celebrated by all who knew and loved her.
May her gentle soul rest in God's eternal peace and glory.
