Bebe Garza Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Grace Funeral Home - Goliad on Nov. 14, 2025.

Bebe D. Garza went home to her Heavenly Father on November 12, 2025. She was born in Port Arthur, Texas on August 30, 1951. She was a wonderful and adoring mother, daughter, sister, wife, and friend.
Bebe had a deep love for animals and nurtured many dogs over time that held a special place in her heart. She was a constant light in support of her loving spouse, Dr. Daniel N. Garza, as they both grew a thriving dental practice in Goliad. She wholeheartedly supported his frequent travel and studies as he pursued further education. Bebe often attended with the dental team as her busy schedule would allow. She spent much of her time as caregiver to her mother, father, and brother, as their health faded over the years even though they lived many hours away in Pt. Neches-Groves, Texas. She happily made that long drive many times, often accompanied by dogs and a toddler.
Bebe had a beautiful smile and an infectious playful personality. She loved to laugh and make you laugh too. She loved playing her guitar and piano. She attended many musical productions in San Antonio with her very close friends Chach and Pam. She loved family, traveling, jogging, tennis, and snow skiing. She enjoyed family fun supporting the University of Houston Cougars, Houston Astros, Houston Rockets, and Houston Texans. One of her most memorable and exciting events was attending the "Ring of Honor" Pro Wrestling Shows in San Antonio with her son Whitlow.
Bebe leaves behind her greatest loves, husband Dr. Daniel N. Garza and son Whitlow M. Garza, as well as her constant companion, "Rufus". She also leaves behind her brothers-in-law, Robert "Bob" Garza (Kathy), Ruben M. "Mike" Garza, David Garza, and constant companion "Toot". Sister-in-law Patricia "Trish" Clot (Dennis), and nephew Adam Garza.
The family wishes to thank all of Bebe's Angels who have been spiritual hands and feet in her constant care over time. Dr. Khiem Q. Vu of Victoria, Texas and Baylor University School of Medicine, Hospice of South Texas and those caregivers who graciously showed up out of love. You are all eternally appreciated.
Bebe knew her Creator well and is being gloriously welcomed. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of South Texas, Immaculate Conception Catholic Church or Goliad Pet Adoption.
Services will be held November 18th at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. The Holy Rosary will begin at 9:30 a.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Father Ty Bazar followed by interment at Holy Cross Cemetery in Goliad.
The family would like to invite all in attendance to join them for a luncheon at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church Parish Hall immediately following the graveside service.
