Rufino Reyna Jimenez

Rufino Reyna Jimenez, "Fino," as he was known, passed away peacefully in the early morning of November 8, 2025. He was 82 years old, for which he gave thanks to God, even in the latter years of his life, when his health was declining and his cross becoming heavier.
He was born in Victoria, Texas on July 10, 1943, one of Triplets born to the late Rita Reyna Jimenez and Juan Jimenez. He weighed about four pounds and was the only one who survived the birth. The other two of the Triplets were named Jose and Jesus Jimenez.
He is survived by his wife, Carolina, who adored him. They were married for almost 60 years, with a few missed years in between, but he had always been the one, her one true love, the best thing that ever happened to her.
He is survived by his son, Eric A. Jimenez, and daughter, Veronica Jimenez. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, one brother, Sylvestre Jimenez, and two sisters, Esperanza Jimenez Kraft and Maria Louise Jimenez Mares.
Fino had a large family growing up, some of whom have already left us but always fondly remembered. Predeceased brothers and sisters include Juan Jimenez, Jr., Norberto Jimenez, Julia Jimenez Cantu, Antioco Jimenez, Benjamin Jimenez, Juan Christopher Jimenez, Candelario Martin Benitez, Celedina Maria Jimenez Garza and Selestino Jimenez. He is also predeceased by a granddaughter.
A Visitation will be held at Angel Lucy's Funeral Home in Victoria, Tx on Monday, November 17, 2025, from 5pm to 8pm with a Holy Rosary to begin at 6pm. Visitation will resume at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church at 8:15am with a Funeral Mass to begin at 9am. Burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Eric A. Jimenez, Cameron M. Pollard, Inocencio Robles Jr., Martin DeLeon, Alan DeLeon Sr., and Jimmy Reyna. Honorary Pallbearer will be Alan DeLeon Jr.
"I will miss you so much, my beloved Fino. You were a good man, a kind and loving and sweet man, dependable and true, one who was always there for me. I was privileged to have known you, to have loved you, to have been your wife. I will always love you, my Fino, and with all my heart I bless you, in the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Amen."
