Memorial service will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, May 10, 2025, at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.
Mario was born October 17, 1946 in San Angelo to Pablo Jio and Lucrecia Fitchett Perez. He was a loving, caring and funny man. Mario loved to get his exercise in by walking, he especially loved walking in the park. He loved playing pool and spending time with family. His nickname was "Super Mario" because to many he was super in every thing he did.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mario is survived by three sisters, Patricia Hernandez and husband Armando of Marfa; Judith Chappa and Lisa Bryant; two brothers, David Jio and wife Frances, and Norman Lee Perez; two very special family members; Joe and Yolanda Minjarez; along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family would like to thank Joe and Yolanda Minjarez, Bronte Nursing Home and Hospice of San Angelo for all the love and care provided to Mario.
