Mario Padron

A Funeral Mass for Mario Padron of Athens is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 1, 2023, at St. Edwards Education and Ministry Center with Father Michael Ledesma officiating. Interment will follow at the Athens Cemetery in Athens under the direction of Hannigan Smith Funeral Home of Athens.
Mario said Amen and peacefully passed away in the presence of his loving family on November 28, 2023, in Athens.
Bulmaro Padron Salazar was born March 31, 1954, in San Luis De La Paz, Guanajuato, Mexico the son of Isaac Padron Sanchez and Guadalupe Salazar (Vega). He owned and operated Mario & Sons Landscaping for over 40 years serving the Athens area and also was the grounds keeper for Athens Cemetery for over 25 years. He enjoyed traveling with his wife to Oklahoma, Nevada and Louisiana for some of their favorite activities. Papi was a selfless man, who was always smiling and more than anything worked hard to provide for his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three siblings, Esterlla Padron Salazar, David Padron Salazar, Dolores Padron Salazar.
He is survived by his loving wife Deisi Martinez Padron; his six children Eric Noel Padron and Ali Mills of Athens, Nancy Patricia Martinez Ward and Arnardo of Comayagua, Honduras, Mario Rafael Padron and Bailey Dawn Padron of Athens, Rosario Martinez and Yair Zumaya Martinez of Athens, Reyna Cecilia Martinez "Chilita" of Dallas, Albert Martinez; his siblings Luz Padron, Consuelo Padron Salazar, Roberto Padron, Ismael Padron, Teresa Padron Salazar, Nicolas Padron; grandchildren Deisi, Albert, Kathy, Kristita, Charley, Audry, Kenny, Jonathan, Ashley, John, Michael, Jacob, Jeremy, Yeira, Gabriel, Landon, Tatum, Talis, Stella and nine great Grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Eric Padron, Mario Padron, Jeremy Norsworthy, Jacob Norsworthy, Jonathan Casteneda, Kenny Martinez, Alberto Martinez.
Visitation will be held from 5-7:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday November 30, 2023, at the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home in Athens.
Arrangements were entrusted to the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home family of Athens.

Le sobreviven su amada esposa Deisi Martínez Padrón; sus seis hijos Eric Noel Padrón y Ali Mills de Athens, Nancy Patricia Martínez Ward y Arnardo de Comayagua, Honduras, Mario Rafael Padrón y Bailey Dawn Padrón de Athens, Rosario Martínez y Yair Zumaya Martínez de Athens, Reyna Cecilia Martínez "Chilita" de Dallas, Alberto Martínez; sus hermanos Luz Padrón, Consuelo Padrón Salazar, Roberto Padrón, Ismael Padrón, Teresa Padrón Salazar, Nicolás Padrón; nietos Deisi, Albert, Kathy, Kristita, Charley, Audry, Kenny, Jonathan, Ashley, John, Michael, Jacob, Jeremy, Yeira, Gabriel, Landon, Tatum, Talis, Stella y nueve bisnietos.
Los portadores del féretro serán Eric Padrón, Mario Padrón, Jeremy Norsworthy, Jacob Norsworthy, Jonathan Castañeda, Kenny Martínez, Alberto Martínez.
El velorio se llevará a cabo de 5 a 7:00 p. m. con un Rosario a las 7:00 p.m.. el jueves 30 de noviembre de 2023, en la funeraria Hannigan Smith en Athens.
