Marion Bentlage Obituary
Marion was born June 10, 1931, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Herbert Spingler and Catherine Ostendarp. She was a graduate of Western Hills High School in Cincinnati, Ohio. Marion worked at Richmond Community Schools as a teacher aid and secretary. She retired from Village Oldsmobile Cadillac as a cashier. Marion loved working in her yard and was handy at refinishing furniture. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church, and Kiwanis. Marion enjoyed volunteering for Area 9, Starr School, and Interfaith food pantry.
Survivors include her daughter, Patricia Jordan; son, Michael (Jill) Bentlage; grandchildren, John, Jordan, and Jay Bentlage, Jason Jordan, and Katy Roser; and 10 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Bentlage; parents; sister, Dorothy Miller; and niece Carol Ann Miller.
Family would like to express our gratitude to the staff at Arbor Trace for their care and support of Marion.
Graveside service for Marion R. Bentlage will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 2, 2026, at Earlham Cemetery with Scott Bell officiating.
