Marion Ansel Cooley

Funeral services for Mr. Marion Ansel Cooley will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, in the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, with Reverend Robert Gillis officiating. Interment will follow in Restland Memorial Gardens, Pollock, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville.
Mr. Cooley, 78, of Pollock, entered eternal rest on Thursday, July 11, 2024, in his residence surrounded by his loving family.
He was a member of First Baptist Church, Pollock. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching cowboy movies. He was an avid New Orleans Saints and LSU Tiger fan. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Buford and Helen Cooley; and two sons, James Cooley and Brian Cooley.
Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory include his loving wife, Brenda Carter Cooley of Pollock; one daughter, Stacey Cooley of Pollock; four grandchildren, Angelica Cooley of Tampa Bay, Florida, Ashley Dailey of Las Vegas, Nevada, Tristan Cooley of Pineville, and Ariel Cooley of Pineville; one great grandson, Grayson Dailey of Las Vegas, Nevada; sister-in-law, Ruth Cooley of Kiln, Mississippi; two nephews, Larry Cooley of Kiln, Mississippi, and Donnie Cooley of Kiln, Mississippi; and his cousin, Devon Jones of Shreveport.
A time of visitation will be held in the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. until time of service.
