Marion Jane Eilers, age 80, a resident of Woodruff, WI, passed away Thursday, June 19, 2025, at Seasons of Life Hospice House. She was born on December 1, 1944, in Racine, WI, to parents Norman and Hazel (Perkins) Miller.
Marion graduated from Racine Lutheran High School. She met the love of her life John A. Eilers, and they married on August 4, 1967, at Christ the King Lutheran Church. Marion worked as a Receptionist for H & R Block and was a Teacher’s Assistant for the Racine Unified School District, working in the Elementary Schools. One of her favorite things in life was working with children and she was a child at heart.
Marion attended Peace Lutheran Church in Arbor Vitae, WI, and Grace Lutheran Church in Racine, WI. She was involved in many church activities, Church Choir, and a Doll Club.
Marion loved spending time with family and friends, especially time with her grandson, Nolan John. She had a special interest in collecting dolls. She and her husband loved to go out and spend time with friends and enjoyed trying new restaurants. In their retirement they loved dividing their time between their home in Racine and their Northwoods home in Woodruff. Marion loved dogs and spending time watching her deer.
Marion was preceded in death by her husband: John A. Eilers; her son: John (Johnny) A. Eilers; her father: Norman Miller; her mother: Hazel Miller; and her brother: Keith Miller. She is survived by her son: James (Sandi) Eilers; grandson: Nolan John Eilers; siblings: David Miller, Eric “Ricky” Miller, Ellen Miller-Bavousett, Mark Miller, Dan Miller, Julie Miller, Scott Miller; many nieces, nephews, and close friends.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, July 26, 2025, at 1:00pm at Peace Lutheran Church in Arbor Vitae, WI. Visitation will be held from 12:00 Noon until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Marion’s name can be made to Peace Lutheran Church or Seasons of Life Hospice House.
