Marion "Lee" Embrey of Las Cruces passed to glory on June 23, 2025. He was 55 yrs old.
Known for his sharp wit and big personality, Lee touched the lives of many through hardship and humor. His handsome look and charm left an impression on everyone he met.
Born in Albuquerque, NM. On Dec. 16, 1969. Lee was the youngest of 4 boys. At a young age the family moved to Las Cruces, where he attended College Heights Christian School. Where he developed a strong connection to Christ his savior, and God the Father.
As a young boy Lee liked riding dirt bikes and hanging out with friends in the desert and on the trails.
After high school, the family moved to Arizona where Lee started a long career in tire sales at his dad's business in Kingman, Az. At the time of his passing, Lee had a mobile RV repair and roadside tire service here in Las Cruces.
Lee lived in the moment and had his struggles in life. He loved to fist fight, cuss, gamble, fast cars, and pretty women. Anyone who knew him would say there was not a dull moment. He always searched for a deeper spiritual connection, and lived with hope in his heart from Christ, despite these challenges.
He is survived by his parents, Paula and Randy Embrey of Las Cruces. His brother Randy of Utah. His grandsons, Myles and Issac of Arizona. Along with several nieces and nephews.
He was proceeded in death by his Daughter Desirae Star Embrey, And brothers Wayne, and Jerry Bill.
A viewing will be on July 14, 2025, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Getz Funeral Home, 1410 E. Bowman Ave. Las Cruces NM 88001. The Funeral service will be held on July 15, 2025, beginning at 10:00 am. at Getz Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers the family asks for a donation in Lee ‘s name be made to St. Jude’s's Children Hospital.
He will be remembered with love and laid to rest with peace.
