Marion Rake Obituary

Marion was born in Upper Mt. Bethel Twp., PA on February 11, 1935, a daughter of the late Melvin Raisner, Sr. and Ruth Mae (Wilcox) Raisner.
She was the wife of the late George E. Rake who passed away in 2015. Marion was a graduate of Bangor High School. She enjoyed traveling, walking in her younger years, and visiting her property in the Poconos.
Marion was a member of Bethel Bible Church of Mount Zion in Martins Creek, PA where she attended a women's bible study.
Marion is survived by two sons Ron and Jeffrey Rake, 2 grandsons Jesse and Lee Rake, and 4 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son Kevin Rake, a brother Melvin Rake, Jr., and a sister Joyce Raisner.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Monday, February 12th at James J. Palmeri Funeral Home, 6602 Alpha Ave., Martins Creek, PA. Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 10 to 11 AM on Monday, February 12th at the funeral home. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family at Riverview Cemetery, Portland PA. Online condolences may be offered at palmerifuneralhome.com.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bethel Bible Church of Mount Zion, PO BOX 217R, Martins Creek, PA 18063.

It was my great pleasure and joy to know Marion. She made me laugh and was an inspiration to my life. I will never forget her and I will think of her whenever I eat ice cream! I am so excited that she is now with her Lord and family. Till we meet again at Jesus´s feet. Love you.

Marion h George with their 3 sons were some of the early members of Bethel Baptist Church. They accepted Christ as their personal Savior and were active faithful members under Pastor Dale Adams. They were all baptised at the same time in the baptistry of the Portland church. They were such a kind and loving family. Blessing on their sons and families.
