Obituary
Marion Marie Seldomridge, 78, of Sykesville, went on to be with our Lord on Monday, March 13, 2023 at Carroll Hospital Center after a long hard battle with congestive heart failure. Born August 10, 1944 in Morgantown, WV, she was the daughter of the late Edward Sylvester Tasker and Margaret Elizabeth Dewitt Tasker. She was the beloved wife of the late Jack Davis Seldomridge.
Marion was a homemaker and her whole world was her family. She enjoyed spending all of her time with her grandchildren, children, and the rest of her family.
She is survived by her two children William Edward Tugwell, Jr. and wife Debra of Sykesville and Jacqueline Elizabeth Coates of St. Petersburg, FL; sisters Betty June Bizzarri of Naples, FL and Judy Mae Cunningham of Oakland, MD; grandchildren Nicole Tugwell, Melissa Black and husband Patrick, Christopher Tugwell and wife Kristen, Kimberley Tugwell, James Coates, Sarah Coates, Matthew Seldomridge and Davis Seldomridge; great-grandchildren Skylar Tugwell, Brooks Tugwell, Shaniyah Tugwell, Carly Black and Thomas Black.
She was predeceased by her son James Richard Seldomridge, son-in-law James "Mike" Coates, Sr., Brother-in-laws Pete Bizzarri and Russell Cunningham.
The family will receive friends on Monday, March 20, 2023 from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 p.m. at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 East Main Street, Westminster, Md. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Crest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Marriottsville, MD.
