Marisa Rampersadsingh, born to Carmen Cabrera and Pablo Martinez on February 7, 1965, in Martin County, Florida, was the fifth of eight children. She attended Warfield Elementary School and Indiantown Middle School during her early years. Marisa briefly lived in New York and Puerto Rico before returning to Florida, where she would settle and make it her lifelong home.
At the age of 27, Marisa met her best friend and soulmate, Boysin Rampersadsingh. The two were married on August 7, 1992, in West Palm Beach, Florida. Together, they embraced life's adventures, enjoying travel, cruises, and cherishing moments with their grandchildren. Their 25 years of marriage were filled with love and joy until Boysin's untimely passing in September of 2017.
Marisa dedicated many years to working as a Medical Receptionist in Lantana, Florida. She found great fulfillment in her work, always eager to help those in need. Beyond her professional life, Marisa had a deep passion for many things-cooking, shopping, music, and spending time at the beach. Above all, she cherished her family. Known for her huge, caring heart, Marisa was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.
She will be dearly missed and remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Marisa leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and devotion to her family and friends.
Marisa leaves to cherish her memory, Daughters; Zoraida Miller (Gabriel), Cynthia Michelle Rivera Cabrera, Michelle Cynthia Rivera Cabrera. Son: Jose Alberto Rivera Cabrera. Siblings; Melvin Ortiz (Deceased), Willie Ortiz (Brenda), Louis Ortiz, Pablo Garcia (Cynthia), Antonio Cabrera (Miranda), Greoria Perez, Victor Perez Jr. (Janicia). Grandchildren; Anthony O. Stallings, Geovanni J. Medina, Xavier A. Miller, Arielys J. Miller, Aniyah J. Miller, Bianca Zoe, Jediael Alberto, Micaela Zoe, Natatlia Sofia, Liam Alberto. Great Grandchildren; Yubislarys Tello and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
