Marjorie Frances Clouser was born on February 14, 1945, number seven of fourteen children born to Henry and Elizabeth Clouser. Marjorie passed on. She grew upon a farm near Crawfordsville Indiana, attended St Joseph Academy high school graduating in 1963. She entered St Francis Convent at Mishawaka, Indiana that same year. After six years she realized she did not have a calling. Marjorie then pursued a career in nursing at Indiana Central College graduating in 1970. She entered the USAF in January 1973 in the Medical field. She served in Florida, Turkey, and Texas until 1977. After that she continued her career at St David's in Austin and then at the Methodist Hospital in San Antonio. Marjorie was a talented seamstress. One Christmas she made Christmas outfits for the "preemies" at the Methodist Hospital. It caught the attention of the SA newspaper who then published a picture and article. Christmas was her favorite time of the year. She also loved animals. For years there was a Duke and Duchess in her home. The dogs came in a variety but were always named Duke or Duchess. The cats in the neighborhood knew where to come for a meal. Marjorie was a generous person, delighting in helping others. She attended daily mass and was involved in several activities. Marjorie was not afraid of praying the Rosary in front of the abortion clinic which she did often. Marjorie is survived by one brother, Kevin (Nicole) of Idaho; six sisters, Marti Porter in Texas, Phyllis Foye and Susanne Vida of Indiana; Virginia Hayes and Karen Critchlow (Morris) of Kentucky and Ruth Chambers (Mark) of Florida. She is also survived by three sisters-in-law, numerous nieces and nephews scattered throughout the USA and one in Germany. Her parents, five brothers, one sister and three nephews precede her in death. She is loved much and will always be our hearts.

A Visitation for Marjorie will be held Sunday, July 20 at Schertz Funeral Home from 5:00 PM-8:00 PM with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held the next morning, Monday, July 21 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church at 11:30 AM with a Graveside service to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 1:30 PM.
