Marjorie "Marge" McIntee, age 97, formerly of Bancroft, passed away on December 23, 2024 at Arborview Court Assisted Living in Wisconsin Rapids where she has resided for the past 15 months.
Marge was born on March 10, 1927 the daughter of Clarence and Grace (Blain) Billman. She married Clair "Bud" McIntee in 1946 and he preceded her in death on November 16, 1994.
Marge graduated from Tri-County High School in 1945. She worked for Walter Tess for a number of years and she also worked at Central Sands. She also enjoyed her time driving special needs children to appointments in the Stevens Point area. She and her husband bowled on a couples league for many years and enjoyed going to dances with her husband on Saturday nights.
Marge is survived by her three daughters, Linda (Russell) Heise of Pine River, Nancy (the late Ken) Mykisen and Kathy (Jim) Mykisen both of Bancroft; 13 grandchildren and several great grandchildren; her brother, Walter (Linda) Billman; daughter-in-law, Donna McIntee-Brooks; sisters-in-law, Sharon Billman and Jean McIntee and brother-in-law, Joe Farago; further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, a son-in-law, one sister, four brothers and three sisters-in-law.
Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, January 2, 2024 at 12:00 noon at the Stahl Funeral Home, Plainfield with Pastor Jeff Silha officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. Thursday until time of services. Inurnment will take place in the Pine Grove Cemetery in the spring.
