Mark J. Baiocchi, age 68, a resident of Naperville, IL since 1991, passed away suddenly on October 3, 2024. He was born on June 28. 1956 in Chicago, IL.
Mark is survived by his best friend and devoted wife of nearly 35 years, Mary Baiocchi (nee Soutar); his loving sons, Michael Baiocchi and Zachary Baiocchi, all of Naperville, IL; his siblings, Greg (Regina) Baiocchi, Kathleen Baiocchi, Colleen (the late Jack) McAllister, Eileen (the late Bob) Baiocchi, Brad (Therese) Baiocchi, Jimmy (Carole) Baiocchi; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, Nicholas Baiocchi; his parents, Ralph and Dorothy Baiocchi; and his brother, Ralph (Sue) Baiocchi.
Mark grew up in Chicago and attended Our Lady of Lourdes Grade School and Quigley Seminary/College Prep. He graduated from Northeastern Illinois University, Chicago and earned his Juris Doctorate from Chicago Kent College of Law. Mark furthered his education of the law by earning his master's degree in health law from Loyola University. He practiced law for nearly 40 years and served as assistant general counsel for AM International, Chicago, general counsel for Man Roland, Westmont, and US Can Corporation, Lombard, before starting his own successful practice in the early 2000's.
Throughout his life Mark enjoyed the trips he took to Hawaii with his family and treasured the memories made. He enjoyed watching his sons play their sports and was a huge Green Bay Packer fan. His daily walks with his faithful companion "Ace" were always times he delighted in. He was most proud to be a loving husband and father and to see his boys grow up to be the men that they are. Mark will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
For those who would like to leave a lasting tribute to Mark's life, memorial donations may be directed to the Ronald McDonald House Charities.

My family is really saddened by Mark's passing. He provided more than legal counsel for our businesses- he also brought a human element to the equation.

We truly felt in good hands with Mark. He always steered us in the correct direction and never took advantage of us.

To the family - you have our most heartfelt sympathy. Mark was one of the best.

Mark always made sure that we had great legal advice when we had difficult clients. He was the calm in the middle of some of our storms and will be missed immensely.

Mary, Michael and Zach,
Our deepest sympathy to you all on Mark's passing. He was a friendly, kind man who always had a smile on his face. He was a very active Dad, and so glad we got to know him better through the boys' tennis lessons. May peace and wonderful memories surround you at this difficult time.

Dear Mary and Family,

I met Mark in law school in 1981 and he was always a delight. I feel very fortunate that after many years we were able to spend time together at our law school reunion. He was funny and really enjoyed himself. I am so sorry for your loss of such a kind-hearted person.

Dear Mary and Family,
I cannot begin to express the profound sorrow I feel over Mark´s passing. He was not just a great friend-he was like a brother to me. Mark´s unwavering generosity, kindness, and willingness to help those he loved left an indelible mark on all who were lucky enough to know him.
From our days together in Miss Finks' classroom at Our Lady of Lourdes to the countless memories we shared over the years, Mark was a constant presence in my life. I feel as though a part of me is missing now. His absence leaves an unimaginable void, but the love and laughter we shared will remain in my heart forever.
Please accept my deepest condolences. May God bless Mark´s soul and grant him eternal peace. We have lost a truly great man, and I know his memory will live on in the hearts of all who were touched by his life.
With all my love and sympathy,
Carl Metoyer

Dear Biaocchi Family,

God has called another fantastic person to Heaven who will truly be missed. I have known Mark for over 30 years, and it has been a tremendous journey. He was the most passionate and caring person I have known, always putting his family first and treating everyone he met with kindness. He was my friend, and we always greeted each other by saying, "It was a privilege and a pleasure."

Mark and Family, It was indeed a privilege and a pleasure to know Mark.

May God comfort the entire family at this time.

Blessings!
