Obituary William Baiocchi William Bill Baiocchi, aged 78, passed away on September 19, 2024. He was a beloved father, husband, and friend who will be deeply missed. Bill was born on August 30, 1946 in Grosse Pointe Farms, MI to William and Josephine Baiocchi. He received his Bachelors and MBA in Business Management from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI and had an accomplished 30+ year career in hospital administration. Bill earned a Bronze Star in recognition of his US Army service during the Vietnam war. On September 10, 1977, he married Kristin Elizabeth Larson. They raised two children, Carolyn and Jeffrey. In retirement he played golf, learned to play the banjo, cheered for the Michigan Wolverines, travelled, and volunteered at the USO at Raleigh-Durham airport. He was devoted to his faith teaching Sunday School for years and read the Bible 3 times. Bill is survived by his wife Kristin, his 2 children Carolyn Homberger (Eric), Jeffrey Baiocchi (Elizabeth) and four grandchildren, Abigail, William, Jacob and Juliet.A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, November 9th, 2024 atSaint Andrews Presbyterian Church 7506 Falls of Neuse Rd, Raleigh, NC at 2:00PM. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the (International Waldenstroms Macroglobulinemia Foundation), Sarasota, FL or www.iwmf.com and www.TransitionsLifeCare.org/donations, Raleigh, NC
