Mark T. Becker, 39, of Marine, IL, passed away on Sunday, June 1, 2025, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO, surrounded by his family.
He was born on July 14, 1985, in Maryville, IL, to Dennis and Louise (nee Ruth) Becker. On June 5, 2010, he married Nichole Riechmann at Marine United Church of Christ, Marine, IL.
Mark was a diesel mechanic, employed by Fabick Caterpillar for the past 15 plus years. For IUOE Local 513 he served as shop steward, election commissioner and general membership welfare plan- Vice Chairman of the Board. He was a fireman at Marine Fire Department. Mark loved his family, especially his children. He enjoyed farming, deer hunting, fishing and four wheeling. He enjoyed watching kids sporting activities.
He was preceded in death by his Uncle Mickey Ruth; paternal grandparents, Clifford and Mildred Becker; maternal grandparents, Eldred and Ruby Ruth.
Mark is survived by his parents, Dennis and Louise Becker, Marine, IL; children, Wyatt Becker and Kendall Becker; brother, Brian (Audrey) Becker, Troy, IL; former wife Nichole Becker, St. Jacob, IL; nephew, Brock Becker; aunts, uncles, cousins and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to Marine Fire Department.
Visitation: Thursday, June 5, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, at Meridith Funeral Home, Highland, IL, and Friday, June 6, 2025, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am, at Marine United Church of Christ, Marine, IL.
Service: Friday, June 6, 2025, 11:00 am, at Marine United Church of Christ, Marine, IL.
Interment: Marine City Cemetery, Marine, IL
