Mark Anthony Ewing, Jr. Was born on January 18, 1975, in Indianapolis, Indiana to Mark and Sandy Ewing. Mark passed away peacefully at home on December 26, 2024. He was a 1993 graduate of Ben Davis High School and lifetime westsider. Mark spent the last 26 years with the love of his life Kelly. Together they raised their two sons, Matthew and Mason. He was so very proud of his boys and loved them very much.
Mark enjoyed spending time in Nashville, Tennessee and attending country concerts with Kelly. He loved taking frequent day trips to Louisville and Cincinnati with his family. He was an avid Nascar & racing fan and spent a great deal of time at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Mark liked watching NFL football and was a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan. He also spent countless hours on weekends supporting his son Mason at marching band contests and show choir competitions. When he wasn't home with Kelly and the boys, Mark preferred to be in the town of Speedway with friends who he considered to be family.
Mark was not only an exceptional son, husband, and father, but he was truly the friend that all could count on. His humor, jokes, and overall presence will be greatly missed by all who knew him and loved him.
Mark leaves behind his loving wife, Kelly; sons, Matthew Ewing and Mason Ewing; parents, Mark and Sandy Ewing; brother, Tommy Ewing; niece, Amanda Robbins; nephew, TJ Dougherty; his cousin, Debbie Kaag; multiple extended family members and all of his Speedway crew who he considered family.
Mark was preceded in death by great grandmother, Clara Stockhoff, Aunt, Pam Moody (the baker) and his beloved dog, Favre.
You are forever in my heart until we meet again, my love.
