Mark Heeter, 64, of Erie, passed away Saturday, July 12, 2025, at his residence.

He was born May 8th, 1961 in Erie, a son to Patricia (Wagner) Heeter and the late Kenneth B. Heeter, Sr.

Mark graduated from Ashbrook High School (Gastonia North Carolina) . He worked as a laborer in Plastics for many years until his retirement. He enjoyed listening to country music , spending time hunting and fishing with family , and spent many Sundays watching the Erie Seawolves , with his son Steve.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his Grandparents Richard and Inez Heeter , and Bert and Amelia Wagner , Uncles , Jim , John , Ron and Aunts Tina and Joann , a nephew, Kenneth B. "Kip" Heeter , Cousins Pam Balliet and Kris Rodgers.

In addition to his mother, Mark is survived by his companion, Janet Fenstermacher; children Steve and Rachel , sister, Brenda Carr (Bob) ; brothers, Kenneth Heeter, Jr. and Steven Heeter (Linda), Uncles Bob, Bud (Bonnie) , and Norm (Louise) and his Aunts Linda and Gina, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Private Arrangements have been entrusted to Burton Quinn-Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, Inc., 3801 W. 26th St., Erie. A celebration of life will be planned for a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family in c/o the funeral home to help cover funeral expenses.
