Mark Allan Irvin 71 Harker Heights Date of Birth: 12/08/1952 Names of Parents: William Walton Irvin and Jeanne Allan Irvin Place of birth: Baltimore, Maryland Marriages - 31 Aug 2015 after 40 years together to lifelong partner James R. Renninger Education: General Studies University of Maryland and Colorado State Employment: US Army Retired E-7 after serving 21 years as a medic; 19 years as an antique dealer at the Salado Antique Mall, Salado Texas Mark had many likes. He loved music, especially the Beatles. Love of nature and loved the wild flowers in the spring. Of course, he loved his business shop at the Salado Antique Mall and many of his customers. He would stay late "until the last customer left." When not running the mall he was out shopping at yard sales, estate sales, and thrift stores. Mark was liked by all who met him. He had a sweet disposition and there is not an organization that he did not donate to. He believed in Jesus and always wore his cross necklace. He was very giving to anyone who he found to be in need. As a lifelong partner and soulmate of 49 years, he loved and took care of the most special person in his life who he called Jim. They enjoyed looking for antiques and collectibles together and got real excited about that rare find. Preceded by his mom Jeanne Irvin of Michigan, father William Irvin of Nevada and oldest brother Jim Irvin of Massachusetts and his loving fur baby Sassy. He is survived by his life long partner James Roy Renninger, Sister Janice Irvin-Huggler of Bainbridge Island WA, Brother Billy Irvin of Poulsbo, WA, and multiple nieces and nephews; not to mention all of his mall family. and his loving fur baby Sassy. In lieu of flowers please donate in his name to any organization assisting those in need or any animal shelter. Special thanks to his mall family; Delsya, Michael, Leland, Noel, Janice, Jeannie, and Aunt Bee

Wife Cindy & I met Mark when he invited us to set up for Market Days at Salado Antique Mall years ago. Him and Jim always made an effort to help folks sell their wares!
ALWAYS an asset to the antique trade in Salado!
Will always remember Mark for his friendly smile, good conversation, and the art of preparing a great pot of coffee! May God bless and he RIP. Jim, know you are in our prayers.
