Mark H. Lacy

Mark H. Lacy, 52 of Millville, passed away suddenly on Monday, August 18, 2025, at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland.

Mark grew up playing baseball in Millville and went on to later coach and inspire many young men into developed athletes, including his own children. His passion, knowledge and love of baseball was unmatched, and the impact he made on the youth of Millville will never be forgotten.

In his spare time, Mark was a devoted, die-hard Eagles fan, a lover of parlays, an excellent napper, and an all-around competitive sportsman - even following in his father's footsteps and excelling in bowling. He loved lounging in the pool and laying on the beach. But most of all, he loved and cherished his family.

Professionally, Mark owned and operated a Domino's franchise in Millville and Cape May Court House for 20 years; he was a manager at WAWA and a director at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City. Lastly, Mark found his true passion as a bus driver, obtaining his CDL and working for Sheppard Bus Service.

Mark will be forever missed by his loving wife of 28 years, Sonia (nee Slattery); his four children: Christopher Johnson-Lacy, and Kyle, Connor, and Madison Lacy; his parents, Furman and Roxanne Lacy; his siblings, Billie Jo and April Lacy; his aunt, Amanda Fisher; his mother-in-law, Mary Lou Slattery; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Relatives and friends will be received on Sunday, August 24, 2025, from 10:00am until 12:00pm, followed by a funeral service at 12:00pm, at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland.
