BELLVILLE: Mark Andrew Maffett passed away April 29th, 2024 in his Bellville residence surrounded by his family. He was 57 years old.
He was born Mark Andrew Maffett to parents Leroy Maffett & Francis (Morrison) Lentz in Galion on May 6, 1966. He graduated from Lexington High School.

Mark found pure joy in the freedom of the open road, spending countless hours riding his beloved motorcycle. The wind in his hair and the rumble of the engine was a sound of freedom and adventure that fueled his spirit. His passion for motorcycles was matched only by his love for tinkering on old cars and engines, a skill he honed with meticulous care and expertise. Mark also enjoyed weekends spent at Mid-Ohio, where he could indulge his passion for speed and adrenaline.
In his spare time, he enjoyed listening to all types of music, going to different auctions, and building/renovating houses. Mark enjoyed spending time fixing up cars and motorcycles including his 1978 Buick Regal and more recently his 1987 Regal, he had a love for the older style cars.
He is survived by his son Dylan (Angela) Maffett and Dalton Maffett; granddaughter Lily Maffett; mother Francis Lentz; sisters Marla Utt and Marilyn Wesiman; mother of his children Teresa Maffett.
He was preceded in death by his birthfather Leroy Maffett; his father that raised him Ronald Lentz; brother Thomas "Tom" Maffett.
