Mark Daniel McCrackin

Mark Daniel McCrackin of Grand Ledge passed away unexpectedly on October 2, 2023. Mark was born October 26, 1967 in Lansing to Richard and Carol (York) McCrackin. He graduated from Grand Ledge High School in the Class of 1985, attended Lansing Community College, and received a Bachelor's Degree from Central Michigan University. Mark then proceeded to complete the IBEW apprenticeship program. Mark worked alongside his dad and founder of R.M. Electric Inc. and longtime friend and business partner, Randy Margraves. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Mark was a member of the Knights of Columbus and was also a Detroit Lions superfan. He will be missed by his loving family, close friends and the many lives that he touched.
He is survived by his wife of thirty years, Jane (Fisk); sons, Taigen and Carson; mom, Carol McCrackin, sister, Marianne (David) Ball; niece, Britney Howard; great nephew, James D. Boyd; mother-in-law, Sandie Pratt; father-in-law, Don (Bev) Fisk; sisters-in-law, Kim (Dan Malkewitz) Driscoll and Lisa (Kyle) Cunningham; brothers-in-law, Scott and David Fisk along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mark was preceded in death by his dad, Richard in 2021.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday October 9, 2023, 1:30 PM at St. Michael Catholic Church in Grand Ledge. Rite of Committal will follow at Wacousta Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 2-7:00 PM with a Scripture Service at 6:30 PM at the Holihan-Atkin-Barclay Funeral Home, Grand Ledge.
