Mark Albert Noelker

Mark A. Noelker, 89, of Norborne, MO died at home Sunday, March 2, 2025. Mark was born December 28, 1935, in Hardin, MO, the son of Karl Fredrick and Beulah Hetzel Noelker.
He was baptized May 10, 1936, at Grace Lutheran Church in Lexington and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Norborne, serving there faithfully in many capacities. Mark was a U.S. Army veteran returning from service to farm in Carroll and Ray counties for over 40 years before retiring. He was a member of the American Legion Post 551 and the Norborne Lions Club. Mark married Bonnie Rodenberg on April 12, 1991, who survives of the home. He is also survived by many in-laws, Bonnie's children, Billy and Carolyn, their families, one sister Sandy Benefiel, and fifteen nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mark was preceded in death by four brothers, Glenn, Rex, Sterling and Karl as well as two sisters, Arlene Darby and Rosemary Falls.
Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, The Lutheran Hour or Shirkey Hospice & Palliative Care.
Mr. Noelker will lie in state from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at Thurman Funeral Home in Norborne. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, March 6, 2025, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Norborne with visitation from 10 a.m. until service time on Thursday at the church. Burial, with military honors, will be at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Norborne, MO following the service.
