Mark A. Ogborn, 64, of Cloverdale, was released from living the last seven years with early-onset Alzheimer's and completed his earthly journey at 5:50 am, on Thursday, March 6, 2025, in the Waters of Greencastle. The oldest of four children, his journey began in Indianapolis, on February 15, 1961, to the late Charles W. and Judith A. (Hall) Ogborn.
Mark graduated from Eminence High School with the class of 1979. Securing what would become a 40-plus-year successful career with Great Dane Trailers, he was undoubtedly a dedicated employee and selfless, hardworking family provider. United in marriage with a classmate, Cindy Cline, on May 10, 1987, with whom he was blessed to share two children, Stephen and Brittany. A jack of all trades and fearless master of most projects, he was most comfortable surrounded by the oasis that he humbly built and created a home.
With a small-town, rural upbringing, he possessed a serious demeanor and a deep love for practical pursuits. Finding joy in restoring tractors, dabbling in hobby farming, and mastering the crafts of fabricating and welding. Mark also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and trapping. The shop was his sanctuary, where he spent countless hours bringing his visions to life. A free-spirited fabricator, self-reliant craftsman, and selfless family provider, Mark was enamored with the arrival of his first grandchild, Abigail. After enduring an illness so cruel and unfair, Mark's spirit remains free and forever soaring with memories and love bestowed.
Survivors include his loving wife, Cindy (Cline) Ogborn of Cloverdale; son, Stephen Matthew Ogborn (wife, Brenda) of Cloverdale, daughter, Brittany Nichole Walker of Cloverdale; three siblings, Lori Pierson (husband, Jeff) of Monrovia, David Ogborn of Franklin, and Ryan Ogborn (wife, Cherise) of Brazil; grandchildren, Abigail, Chloe, and Matthew Ogborn, along with Jeremiah and Ezekiel Wilson.
Cremation Arrangements were entrusted to Light Memorial & Funeral Chapel in Monrovia. The immediate family gathered privately at the funeral home prior to cremation. The family plans to have a small private celebration of life later in the week. Online condolences, favorite stories, and photos may be shared with the Ogborn family by visiting Mark's tribute page at www.lightmemorial.com.

Mark and I spent a lot of time together as children. We spent endless summer days climbing trees, building go carts, and one summer we accidentally set the woods next to his house on fire. You will be missed cousin and never forgotten.
