Sheridan Funeral Home - Kents StoreIt is with great sadness that Mark Wayne Sipe born November 15,1982, passed away on October 2, 2025, surrounded by his beloved family after a three-year battle of stage four liver disease.
Mark is proceeded in death by his father Gary Wayne Sipe, his grandmother Arlene Love and his father-in-law David Tillman
Mark is survived by his wife of 17yrs Amanda C Sipe and their 3 children, the loves of his life Hunter Sipe, Harlie Sipe and Wyatt Sipe; his God daughter Mariann Chamberlin; his other kids that he loved as his own Alyssa Dickerson, Rainer Booker, Cesar Vazquez, Graham Morris, Camden Hinkle, Zephyr Melville. He is also survived by his mom, Jeannie Sipe; his brother’s Bobby Sipe and Lucas Bates, his sister, Mary Duncan and husband, Josh Duncan, his mother-in-law, Judy Tillman; his nieces and nephews Hailey, Emilee, McKenna, Bentley, Ashton, Abigail, Ariel, AnnaLee, Kendall, Dakota, RJ, Kaitlin, Landen; two great nieces Oaklynn and Lakota; his aunts Dorothy “Dottie” Hicks, Faye Christensen, his close cousins Curtis Dunivan, and Frankie Sipe and James Sipe.
Mark adored his sweet babies. Aubree, Promyse, Hunner, Liliana, Carrie “stinks” and Mason.
Mark never met a stranger anywhere he went he made friends that were like family, Kenneth Starkey, Travis Washington, Keith Dickerson, David Lee Taylor, Toby Wyllys, Kevin “Red” Shifflett, Bruce and Nikki Anderson, Robby Leedy, Anthony Henshaw, Ben Tillman, Joyce and Michael Ryder, Kathy Chamberlin. We want to extend a special thanks to Lynn Fender, Gentevia Hospice, Barbie and Chris that gave mark wonderful care.
Mark lived a fulfilling life with his wife and kids. Mark and Amanda have been together for 26yrs. Their wedding song is My Best Friend by Tim McGraw, and it really is true to their love story. He enjoyed working on old cars with his two sons. He loves spending time with Harlie watching animal shows while snuggling in the recliner. He enjoyed going to the beach with his family and friends. His favorite restaurant was Innwood located in Gordonsville with his favorite waitress Erika. He also enjoyed a good cookout/birthday party and in general just spending time with people he cared about.
There will be a celebration of life on November 8, 2025, at 11:00am at Fox Memorial Baptist Church 2847 W River Rd, Scottsville, Virginia with service and fellowship to follow with Gary Osteen officiating.
