He leaves to cherish his memories four daughters, Ahley Thomas, Mary Brignac, Cornelia Staves, and Coltranesa Frank; three sons, Christopher Vital, Mark Vital Jr., and Javandon Staves; eleven grandchildren, Jacobe, Kaleb, Kylen, and Jabari Thomas, Lashaya and Abby Hollier, Nolan Lewis, Melanie, Joseph, Javon, and Juwan Staves; three sisters, Dierdre and Evelyn Vital, and Mary Duragon; three brothers, Terrell and Dale Hall, and Joe Richmond; special nephew, Dejuan Vital; special cousin, T Mike Vital; and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Bertha Vital; sister, Mary Richmond; and brother, Tracy Vital.
His visitation will be Wednesday, May 3, 2023 from 11AM with his funeral following at 1PM, at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Pastor Braylon Harris. Pastor Robert L. Owens will officiate. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery under the direction of James Funeral Home.

Always a kind, loving, respectable man I´ve known him all my life. He was very good with my son and my grandson. He´s gradually going to be missed.
