Michael Joseph Vital Sr.

New Iberia, LA - A home-going celebration of life for Mr. Michael Joseph Vital, Sr. 73, at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at Fletcher Funeral Home with Prophetess Betty Dugas, officiating.
He will await the resurrection at All Saints Cemetery (9405 Harold Landry Road) in Loreauville, LA.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at Fletcher Funeral Home beginning at 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service.
Michael, affectionately known as "The Master" was a resident of Lafayette, LA. He transitioned on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette, LA.
He leaves to cherish his memory and in God's care, two sons, Michael J. Vital, Jr. (Raynell) of Loreauville, LA and Marcus Vital (Kelly) of West Point, GA; two daughters, Martine V. Alexander (Marshall) of Loreauville, LA and Wyoletta V. Welch of Lafayette, LA; one sister, Eva Dell V. Archangel of Loreauville, LA; godchildren, Sonia Antoine Porter, Crystal Archon, Joyce Jones, Angela Johnson, and Kevin Simon; fourteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; bonus brothers, Ronald Antoine, Sr., Graynell Anthony, and Gerald Anthony; a host of in-laws, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who loved him dearly.
He is proceeded in death by his wife, Mary Vital; parents, Ulger Vital and Louise Anthony Vital; grandson, Raymond Bonnette, Sr.; two brothers, Melvin Vital and Joseph Cleveland Vital, Sr.; two sisters, Mary Edna Pierre and Mary Lorena Broussard; in-laws, other relatives, and friends.
Active pallbearers are Rhashid Bonnette, Michael J. Vital III, McKaylon Vital, Rhahim Vital, and Amyrian Charles, and A'Zyrian Alexander.
Honorary pallbearers are Graynell Anthony, Spencer Anthony, Makyree Vital, Makylon Vital, Eric Zachary, Terrell Tripeaux, Jonathon Polk, and Willie Broussard, Jr.
