Mark Andrew Weber, Sr., aged 85, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2025, at Mapleview Country Villa nursing home in Chardon, OH. Born to Daniel and Johanna Weber on March 1, 1940, in Salem, OH, Mark graduated from Salem High School in 1958 and, after attending Capital University in Columbus, OH, spent over 20 years in banking. In February 1985, he joined the Ashtabula County Sheriff Department, retiring as Sergeant in April 2005. Known for his charm and love of family and friends, Mark will be greatly missed by many.
He is survived by three children, Mark “Skip” Jr. [Valerie], Jeffrey, and Daniel [Theresa], stepchildren Roger [Melissa] Stahl, Judith [Tom] Hulme, ten grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and twin brother, Daniel [Nancy] Weber. He was preceded in death by parents Daniel and Johanna Weber and Sister Kathy (Weber) Bartha.
The calling hours will be Friday, March 21st, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Weber Funeral Home, 340 East Lincoln Way, Lisbon, OH 44432. On Saturday, March 22nd, the viewing will be at 10:00 am followed by service at 11:00 am at the Emanuel Lutheran Church, 251 S. Broadway Ave., Salem, OH 44460.
