A Memorial service will be on Friday, February 9, 2024 at Union Chapel Baptist Church, 2437 Zebulon Rd., Zebulon NC at 2:00pm, with a memorial visitation from 12:30pm to 2:00pm prior to service.
He is survived by his amazing wife of nearly 24 years, Teresa Driver Whitley; his daughter, Kristy Adams and his granddaughter, Kamdyn Adams.
Flowers are welcomed or donations may be made to Union Chapel Baptist Church.

Being able to witness Marks Life weekly at church was such a wonderful time because I knew where he had come from in his trials and tribulations and watched him suffer at times as well as grow into one of God's Special People. My most memorable moment was when he sang for us at my late husbands funeral back in August , 2006. It took me years of my life to try to listen to that song again. Then back in early February of 2022, he was so gracious to sing that song for me again and I had my two girls there with me to listen to something that had been so hard to hears all those years on the radio. It truly was a breathtaking moment with happy tears of joy and memories to last a lifetime. You will be forever missed Mark. You just keep on singing as we know your with us everyday.
