Mark E. Zehnder passed away on August 19, 2025. In his own words… I've had a wonderful life.

Fortunately, Carol, Mike and I were the children of the late Joe and Carolyn Zehnder. They instilled in us the importance of family, religion, education, confidence, and a positive attitude. We had a happy childhood, and they gave us a strong foundation.

Married to Carla (Coupie), the love and most important person in my life, her sense of humor led to many smiles and laughter in our family. She has been an inspiration as a caring and devoted mother of our three kids: Chele (Todd Robinson), Dana (Steve McKinley), and Matt (Rachel Plecas). What a blessing they have been, and we love them deeply. We are so proud of who they are and their accomplishments.

I am "Pops" to Noah, Luke, Jonah and Sam McKinley and Jack and Joe Robinson. What a joy to watch them grow up. They hold a special place in my heart.

Farewell to my friends and co-workers who helped fulfill my life. It has been a privilege, and I am grateful for having crossed paths with you along the way. Special thanks to Dr. Travis Spaulding and his staff for their excellent care in my battle with cancer. And to Hosparus, especially Betsy who made me comfortable in my final days.

Lastly, my thanks to all my four-legged companions from Binky to Butch to Oscar and so many others who loyally stood by me on my journey.

There will be no funeral arrangements, and no flowers please. Instead, give to Metro Animal Services, Tunnel to Towers, or your favorite charity.

Wishing everyone health and happiness for the rest of your lives. It's been fun. No complaints, no regrets. So long, Mark
