Mark Allen Zuhlke, 73, of Westchester, IL, passed away on Wednesday, June 4th, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones.
Mark was a devoted & loving husband to his wife of 54 years, Denise (Price); a proud & supportive father to his three children and one son-in-law, Danielle Zuhlke-Smith (Michael Smith), Jessica Zuhlke, and Matthew Zuhlke; and an affectionate & doting Papa to his five grandchildren, Brooklynn Victoria, Francine Adele, Evelyn Sue, Adelaide Paige, and August Price.
Born on February 29th, 1952, he was a graduate of Romeo High School (Class of 1970) in Romeo, MI, where he was born, raised, and resided for 64 years.
In 2016, upon retirement from Romeo Community Schools, Mark and Denise moved to the Chicagoland area to be closer to their three children and their families. Mark spent the last nine years cheering on his kids, celebrating their achievements, and helping them in any way he could. He found incredible joy and peace in his grandbabies - as being “Papa” for the last 13 years was his most cherished role to date.
Mark is also survived by his two sisters, Annette Famiano (Donald) of Union, KY, and Valerie Anger (Duane) of Shelby Twp. MI.
Mark will be forever missed but always in our hearts.
