Marlena Parra Obituary

She was preceded in death by one brother, Frederick Scot Wilson, grandparents Dallas and Reva Wilson, Luther and Leona Kay.
Marlena was employed by the Virginia Beach City Public School system for 23 years. Survivors include her loving husband of 25 years, Arnold James, and beloved sons, Isaac and Elijah; her father Fred and mother Sheila (Kay) Wilson; her sister Melanie (Wilson) Pertee and her husband Chuck, and brother Marcus Wilson; niece and nephew Cailyn and Nathan Wilson. Marlena had numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cancer Society or The American Red Cross. Services will be held at 11:30 am on November 30, 2025 at Hollomon-Brown, Princess Anne Chapel. Condolences to the family may be offered at www.hollomon-brown.com
