Marlene Chasse Obituary

Marlene P. Chasse, 66, of Newington, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 16, 2021. She was born on a Sunday on July 4, 1954 in St. Agatha, Maine, where she was raised, and graduated from Wisdom High School. Soon after, she would move to New Britain where she would become a wife, a mother to a son, and work for Northeast Utilities. Marlene was a compassionate, gentle soul with extreme generosity and love for all. An animal lover and advocate, an accomplished home chef, a devoted grandmother and a loving mother. May her soul finally rest in peace, and she be healed of her wounds. She is survived by her son Jamy Nadeau and his wife Jean, and their daughter Lia. Her survived siblings: Lorraine, Maureen, Lisa, Brenda and Steven, along with many nieces and nephews, and her longtime partner, Edward. Marlene was preceded in death by some, including her sister, Nancy, her mother, Florence and her father, Percy. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2021, at 10 a.m. at the St. James Church, 767 Elm St., Rocky Hill. Calling hours are from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 1, 2021, at the Rose Hill Funeral Home at 580 Elm St., Rocky Hill.
