Marlene Perine

Marlene A. Perine, 79, of Canton, passed away Sunday, May 28th, at Mercy Medical Center. Born in Canton on December 20, 1943, a daughter of the late Mary Dorothy (Wood) Mayle, also preceded in death by husband Lester E. Perine; sons Melvin and Larry; brothers Herman and Melvin; and sister Jeannie. She was a member of the Apostolic Believers Church of Canton. Survived by daughter Kathleen Brandon, of Dickson, Tennessee; 4 sons Richard Perine, of Canton, Lester Perine, of Pennsylvania, Danny Smith, of Perrysburg, Ohio, Donald Wirth, of Idaho; 5 sisters Brenda, Kay, Lucy, Karen, Grace; brother Charles; 21 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren as well as many other family members and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, June 2nd in the Waltner-SIMCHAK Funeral Home with Pastor Edith McCartney officiating. Friends and family may call 2 hours prior also in the funeral home.
