Marsha Louise Patterson, 72, of Republic, MO passed away on July 4th, 2025. She was born April 9th, 1953, to Ernest and Mary Jewell "Julie" Purkey in St. Louis, MO.
Marsha was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Donna Purkey.
Marsha was very proud of her family that she is survived by: husband, Larry Patterson; children, Kelli Waters, Jason Dean, and Daughter in Law, Michelle Dean; grandchildren, Madison Lormand, Mallory Waters, Michael Dean, Jay Arana, Jordan Dean, Bryan Dean, Adrienne Dean, and Jaylee Hamilton and husband Parker; great grandchildren Mason and Gatlin Arana; sister, Paula Dalrymple; niece, Shannon Dalrymple; and several extended family members, friends, and loved ones.
Marsha was an animal lover throughout her entire life, having many fury family members over the years that she loved deeply. Her love for animals turned into a career as a Vet Tech for several years where she cared for and saved the lives of many. Another passion of Marsha's was interior decorating where she'd bring a vision to life and create a beautiful space that everyone adored. Marsha was also very artistic and loved to craft and "DIY" furniture pieces to add her own personalized touch. She also loved to cook for others, knowing her home style cooking was a comfort to many. Marsha's heart was filled with unconditional love, and she was always lighting up every room she walked in. She was truly an unforgettable individual. Every 4th of July we will remember Marsha as the firecracker she was.
