Martha Lou Beldin

Martha Lou Baldree Beldin passed away at home, peacefully on Dec. 5, 2025, at the age of 91, surrounded by her family.
Born on December 11, 1933, in Flynn, Texas, Martha's life was a tapestry of love, dedication, and spirited independence that touched the hearts of many.
Martha's entrepreneurial spirit led her to become the beloved owner of the Hilltop, where she not only served her community, but also created a warm and welcoming space for all. Her work was not just a job, but a reflection of her generous and friendly nature, which made it a local favorite.
She was proceeded in death by her parents Tom and Mattie Baldree; her husband of 39 years, Johnny Beldin; four sisters Mildred Mandrell, Margie Howard, Nell Spainhour, Virgie Garner; six brothers Melvin Baldree, Alvin Baldree, Tommy Baldree, Ernest Baldree, Clifford Baldree and David Baldree.
She is survived by her daughter Tina Davis, Grandchildren Taylor Kitchens, Daniel Kitchens and wife Brittany, John Rowdy Kitchens and wife Taylor, Jake Kitchens, Sarah Freeman and husband Steven. Great grandchildren Maci Kitchens, McKenleigh Kitchens, Waylon Kitchens, Brant Loftis, Wrenlee Kitchens, Brooklyn Rockett, Madalyn Freeman and Levi Freeman, sister Dorothy Davis, a brother-in-law, Jackie Beldin and a sister-in-law Carol Beldin.
Her family was the light of her life. Martha's love for her family was boundless, and she relished in every moment she spent with them, leaving behind a legacy of cherished memories.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 12, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Corley-Porter Funeral Home in Mexia, TX, with Interment to follow at Wortham Cemetery, in Wortham, TX.
